1.  What kind of music do you play?

        Mac is a one man cover band playing hits from all genres of music.  Every show is tailored to fit the needs for that event and a different set list is written before every show.  That means you will never see the same show twice.  Making sure to keep the event going smoothly you would only hear an original song if the time is right (request, or just a laid back crowd wanting originals.)  Mac knows what it takes to make your event work so sit back and have a good time.  Whether your retiring or just coming to a college bar, Mac will be there to keep you dancing and singing all night long.

2. 2. Does a one man band mean “Acoustic?”
   

      NO!!!!  Every song is performed by tracking (Drum and Bass are pre-recorded), and are performed with guitar, piano, and vocals all being played and sung live.  You might hear a few songs that are just acoustic, most the time because they are better that way.

3. 3. How long will you play?
   

      However long it takes to make your event work.  I play shows that are 4 hours without a set break.  I will also play shows that have 3 set breaks.  So in short, whatever you need to make your event work.

4.  How much do you cost to hire?

     This is totally dependent on the location, time, and date of the event.  There is no set price for every show.  Just contact Shane with details of your event to give you an idea of the cost.

5. 5. How far will you travel?
   

      Anywhere! Yes anywhere, of course travel will be incorporated into the price but if the opportunity arises then I will play anywhere you need.

6. 6. Do you have your own equipment?
   

      Yes.  I have all my own sound equipment for small to medium sized clubs, weddings, and private parties.  Depending on the venue, sound may be provided by the venue which works great too.  If sound needs to be hired for an event then the cost will be negotiated in the price.

7. 7. Do you have a Demo or Press Kit?
   

      Yes, everything is available through this website.  The page is currently getting updated so if you need audio or video samples that have not been compressed and uploaded feel free to contact me.  Basically, my show will keep people dancing and having fun all night while also promoting drinks and keeping the bar happy at the same time.

8. 8. How do your WEDDINGS work?
   

      Mac weddings are a completely unique show compared to anything else out there.  Have you ever wanted a live band at your wedding but they are just too expensive, and you didn’t want just another DJ?  Why not mix them both together.  That is what you get at a wedding with Mac.  A mix of live music and DJ ing to keep the party going all night.  I will meet with the Bride and Groom before the event as many times need be, to plan and coordinate the entire event so it is guaranteed to be a night to remember.  Also available is acoustic precessional and processional music at the ceremony to make for an all inclusive deal.
